New Time for Chancel Choir Rehearsals!!

Rehearsals are Wednesday from 7:35 – 9:05 pm in the choir room.

BELL RINGERS

The Carillon Ringers will resume rehearsal on Wednesday, September 8 from 6:15-7:30 pm in Fellowship Hall One.  Please note the new rehearsal time!

The Joyful Ringers (Wednesday morning group) will be on hiatus until the hiring process for our new Bell Choir Director is complete.

CHILDREN’S CHOIR

The first rehearsal will begin on Sunday, September 19 at 11:30 am.  The parent/guardian bringing the child should be prepared to come to the first rehearsal to fill out some paperwork.

Come enjoy the Music Ministry of Bryan Sirchio expressing the life and teachings of Christ and see what Bryan’s mission ministry in Haiti is all about!

Bryan is an ordained United Church of Christ Minister.  He was a Pastor of two small churches in northern Wisconsin, and then lived in Three Lakes, Wisconsin for the first six years of his music ministry. In 1993 he and his family moved to Madison, Wisconsin where he presently resides.  As of October, 2010, he has released 12 CDs, 3 study guides, and 4 songbooks. Bryan will be joining us for worship on Sunday, September 26 for the 10:30 am worship service (no 8:30 worship that day.)

We will meet at MHCC at 5:30 p.m. and carpool to Panera’s for a light supper followed by a trip to Trinity Cathedral, downtown Cleveland, to walk the Labyrinth – a very spiritual and meditative opportunity. If you are interested in attending, please sign up on the bulletin board outside the church office.

At Huntington Playhouse

 The music of the legendary rock and roll songwriting duo Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller light up the Huntington Playhouse stage.  Featuring hits from the ‘50’s and ‘60’s, this sizzling revue will have you on your feet and dancing!  Leiber and Stoller may not be household names, but their 45-year collaboration has yielded some of the most famous rhythm and blues and rock and roll hits of all time including “On Broadway”, “Love Potion #9”, “Stand By Me”, “Yakety-Yak”, “Jailhouse Rock”, “Hound Dog” and many, many more.  Public performance dates are:

Friday and Saturday, August 27-28, Friday and Saturday, September 3-4, Friday, and Saturday & Sunday, September 10-12.
